Bus bar

Busbars are electrical engineering components that are used as a special form of busbars within electrical systems to distribute currents to individual power lines. They mostly consist of highly conductive metals such as copper or aluminum alloys. They are available both as a single busbar and as a multiple busbar in the eibabo shop. In smaller switchgear systems, individual busbars are often used, which provide even more clarity there. In contrast, multiple busbars are used in more complex systems, where they not only increase the clarity but also increase the redundancy of the system. They can often be used even if only a small amount of space is available. Quadruple busbars, in turn, are special forms of multiple busbars that can be used in parallel to the switching of individual circuits, while other circuits have to be disconnected from the network, for example for maintenance tasks.
