Since it was founded in 1879, Gustav Klauke GmbH (Klauke) has developed from a Remscheid-based manufacturer of high-quality pliers for watchmaking to an internationally operating company. Today the company develops, manufactures and sells tools, test, measurement and inspection devices as well as connection material for electrical engineering. Customer-specific tools, for example for sanitary and heating technology, special connection components for use in automobiles as well as cable harnesses and assemblies for a wide variety of niche applications are further focal points of the product range at Gustav Klauke GmbH. In addition to the headquarters in Remscheid/Germany, the company is active both in Bernsdorf/Germany and at ten other foreign locations in Slovakia, France, Spain, Great Britain, Austria, Russia, India, Poland, China and Mexico. The actions of the more than 1000 employees worldwide are based on the values of innovation, quality and customer proximity as well as the lean management concept. Klauke has been part of the Tools & Test division of the TEXTRON Group since 1996. In addition to KLAUKE, other companies that have specialized in tools for different areas of application are also represented in this industrial sector.
